Privacy policy

This policy explains what information AEOswitch ("we", "us") collects through aeoswitch.com, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone, website (optional) and message.
• Newsletter signup: your email address.
• Phone calls and emails you send us directly.

Information collected automatically

We use Matomo analytics on our own servers in cookieless mode (no tracking cookies). We may also load Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4 when those IDs are configured. Matomo and our web server keep standard access data (IP address truncated or anonymized where applicable, browser, page requested, time) for security, troubleshooting and understanding how the site is used. We do not use advertising cookies by default.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote
• To send the newsletter you asked for, if you signed up
• To understand and improve the website
• To keep the site secure and stop spam

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business: our hosting provider, email delivery for form messages and the newsletter, and (when configured) Google Tag Manager / Analytics. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records afterward. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to our Matomo / Analytics retention settings.

Your choices and rights

• Newsletter: every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Access, correction and deletion: depending on where you live (including under the Colorado Privacy Act, where it applies), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
